Designing, developing, and manufacturing one of the world’s easiest COVID-19 self-tests, right here in the U.S.A? That’s no small feat during a global pandemic but that’s exactly what our clients at OraSure Technologies managed to do. All we had to do was bring their remarkably simple COVID-19 test to market at the lightning speed of an FDA Emergency Use Authorization.
On the day InteliSwab was approved, we turned on InteliSwab.com. Soon after, InteliSwab emptied off the shelves of Walmart and Walgreens. As of 2022, OraSure has procured over a half a billion dollars in federal contracts to expand the development of its life-saving test devices. InteliSwab is also just one of two COVID-19 tests selected by the U.S. government to supply schools nationwide.
